Vacation Bible School
Give your children a new enthusiasm for God’s Word and for Jesus! We will travel back to ancient Rome and learn from St. Paul as we visit him while he is under house arrest there. VBS will be held this summer at St. John the Baptist. Learn more! Vacation Bible School is sponsored by St. John the Baptist. We look forward to seeing you this summer!
Who Can Attend?
All children entering kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome to attend.
Class Schedule
Classes will be conducted 5 consecutive evenings August 3 through August 7 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
Registration - Vacation Bible School - Deadline July 20, 2009
Cost is $10 per child or $20 per family. Registration is not complete until payment is received. Register online or complete this form. Forms are also available in the back of church. Make your check out to St. John the Baptist. Payment can be either mailed or dropped off in the collection basket, (please indicate VBS on your check). Questions? Volunteers - Vacation Bible School - Deadline June 26, 2009
Below are roles we need to fill. Volunteer online or call or email Mary Kay Steckel at (920) 892-6757 for more information.
- Family Leaders - loves Jesus, kids, having fun, and is at least 14 yrs old
- Marketplace Shop Leaders - enjoys projects, arts/crafts, and working with their hands
- Kitchen Staff - prepares/serves food, cleans environment, and organizes/supervises teams
- Set Construction and Decoration Helpers
- Costumes Coordinator & Helpers - sews and plans costumes & props
- Actors - acts as Roman citizens, soldiers and Christians
