School Philosophy

As a Catholic school, we at St. John the Baptist believe that by entrusting their children to us, parents share with us a special partnership. We join them in the challenge of nurturing God’s love in their children. We believe our presence as a Christian faith community should support the development of each child’s potential. Therefore, we are dedicated to providing a family atmosphere in which each child is encouraged to respect himself/herself and others as God-given gifts to the world.

Our curriculum is designed to provide our students with the necessary skills to meet life’s challenges. We are dedicated to individual excellence in both ourselves and our students. Because education is a joint effort, we strive to utilize parental and community talent and involvement.

It is our firm hope and belief that through our efforts, St. John the Baptist School Family will send forth loving, concerned educated students who integrate Christian values with life’s experiences.
